The Radiology Director is responsible for the planning, directing, organizing controls, staffing and evaluation in all areas of Radiology. Manages areas of responsibility within the rules and regulations of State and Federal agencies. Shares responsibility for the development, interpretation, application and implementation of departmental policies, budget and strategic plans. Achieves departmental/ organizational objectives and improvement opportunities by providing quality diagnostic services. Oversees and adheres to Federal, State and JCAHO regulations. Maintain equipment servicing, staff licensing, and competencies. Assists the radiologists with reports as needed. Maintains staff scheduling for services offered per department procedures. Correlates with Central Scheduling. 

Job Requirements 

Certifications / Licenses:

• ARRT registry required. ARRT registry in CT, MRI, and/or Cardiovascular preferred.

Experience:

• Seven (7) years experience in the Radiology field required. 
• Four (4) years supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have a working knowledge of budget preparation and control; departmental staffing and disciplinary procedures; marketing, patient and public relations strategies; planning and implementing new programs; and interpreting and managing physician interaction and requests with regard to Radiology.
